Public Transport

The airports of Düsseldorf, Brussels, Cologne are in a one hour driving distance, the smaller airports Mönchengladbach and Maastricht-Aachen are in a 30 to 45 minutes distance.

Aachen can be reached comfortably by train. From Cologne by Intercity or Intercity Express and Regionalbahn, which both leave hourly to Aachen Hbf the main station. From there, take a taxi or the bus number 3A or 3B headed towards Uniklinik. Leave the bus at the bus stop Stiewistraße. Turn right and take the steps to reach the chair of Electronic devices in the building of AMO GmbH.

Other bus lines from the centre are 33 towards the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen or Vaals, 73 or 173 towards the University Hospital and 12 or 22 towards Campus Melaten.

By Car

From the motorway junction Aachen take the A4 in the direction of Antwerp. Take the Aachen-Laurensberg exit and turn right into Kohlscheider Straße. Drive straight ahead at a traffic light and then turn right into Toledoring in the direction of the hospital. Follow this road until the second exit, RWTH Melaten. Leave the following roundabout at the second exit. Follow the road until the fourth exit on the right and turn right into Otto-Blumenthal-Straße. Follow this road to the end, where you will see the AMICA building.

If your navigation system cannot find Otto-Blumenthal-Straße, try to enter the old name Huyskensweg, as some of the software has not yet been updated with the new street name.
